Clarity Helps Landscape Company Trim Business Processes
ValleyCrest Companies, the largest integrated landscape services provider in the country, initiated a substantial project to improve productivity by applying the principles of lean production. The project goal was to eliminate waste in the company’s business processes which, in turn, would improve productivity and customer service.
Training was needed to explain these new business processes to employees across the country. Clarity provided a consultant with experience in instructional design, training management, and productivity improvement methodologies.
The consultant’s background in process improvement was a key factor in her ability to work with management to develop new procedures.
The training course introduced productivity improvement and the principles of lean production, focusing on eliminating waste in business processes. The consultant created a leader’s guide, participant workbooks, and visual presentation materials for use in the field offices.
