• As an independent consultant, served as an elearning team leader for a Fortune 100 company.  Researched, wrote, produced and delivered certification training for a human capital management system, including hiring, goal management, performance management, learning management, compensation, succession planning, surveys, competency and position/job template planning.
• At a leading radio frequency identification (RFID) technology firm, wrote, organized, led and delivered internal and external training and certification programs.  Trained over 200 RFID specialists from 80+ companies, creating over $400K in revenue.  Developed, coordinated and led off-site training and knowledge transfer to engineering companies in India, Europe and the U.S.  Created all fixed and embedded reader documentation.  Designed and wrote user guides, technical notes, application notes and training manuals.
• At a start-up software firm, developed and delivered all technical training seminars and certification programs for end-user and consultant software packages to sales, presales and consultant staffs as well as clients.  Trained and mentored all internal new hires.  Established training standards and documentation standards and methodologies for entire company.
• At a software company, developed a phased elearning strategy based upon collaboration and enabling technologies such as Learning Management System (LMS) for individual competency tracking, synchronous web meetings and distance learning tools for project teams and geographic reach, and asynchronous digital streaming video technology for rapid dissemination of presentations and company-wide information.  Developed a comprehensive curriculum to provide for succession planning and consultant training.
• At a software company, produced commercial interactive multimedia CD-ROM-based training for end-users.  Designed and developed computer-based training and self-paced video and text-based training programs.  Supervised five internal training staff and four external consultants, including Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), instructional designers, video/audio producers, graphic artists, programmers and quality control engineers.  Produced training whose sales average more than $1M/year in $6M gross departments.  Introduced structured documentation standards, reducing document maintenance by 75% and increasing end-user ease-of-use reports by 25%.  Introduced new instructional and multimedia technologies, generating sales of over $150K/year.
• At an Israeli educational television organization, developed teacher training and train-the-trainer programs.  Directed all regional planning of training for instructional technologies and television series into 300+ public schools and teacher training facilities.  Increased penetration of educational television use by 50% through southern tier of country.

Education includes a Ph.D. in Literary Semiotics and Philosophy from Cornell University and a BA in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard College.  Software skills include Linux, UNIX, Raindance, WebEx, Captivate, FrameMaker, PhotoShop, RoboHelp, Illustrator, 4^th Dimension, ODBC, Oracle, SQL, Access, XML, Python, JavaScript, HTML.  Extensive LMS experience.
